A great activity to get to know your new class. ‘All About Me’ bag templates: Fill this bag with 4 things you can use to tell the class about yourself, only 4 things. All your objects have to fit in this bag. Decorate the bag if you would like to. Bring back the bag and be ready to show the class and tell them about yourself. I can’t wait to learn all about you!

Emotional Check-in

Emotional check-in is a great way to support children to talk about their emotions. My class use our ‘emotional check-in’ display as they come into the classroom every morning. They attach their photo to the emotion they are feeling. I check our emotional check-in display when I am taking the register and will go and talk to any pupils who have said they are feeling unwell, sad, angry or anxious. I also check the display throughout the day as pupils can move their picture if they start to feel differently.
